For those of you who’ve never heard of it, Cohousing is a type of collaborative housing in which residents actively participate in the design and operation of their own neighborhoods. Cohousing residents are consciously committed to living as a community while having their own full home and never sharing finances. And why, you ask, am I sharing this? Well, for two reasons. On the personal side, this is something my husband Spencer and I are interested in and actively pursuing near where we live on Capitol Hill. The other is that as part of that newly forming community, I designed a logo and website prototype. Initially, in 2010, someone in the community who uses Drupal implemented my design. This week I recreated the site in WordPress so it’s now mobile ready. The completed site is now up at: www.capitolhillurbancohousing.org
